Bad example of poster

Here is a fairly bad example of a poster to promote a movie. First of all there is a fairly boring colour mixed with another boring colour making it stick out, but at the same time you cant read some of the writing due to the fact its black on black writing. There are also to many pictures. there is also not much to see for passing viewers. as a group we will make sure we dont make anything close to this!

Good example of poster

Here is a very good example of a murder mystery poster mainly cause it has the stereotypical hat and cigarette with very little use of colours and font, this is because most posters have very simple pictures and colours. this makes it able for a passing viewer to have a quick read. we plan to do this in our task.

Last day.

Today is the last day we had to do any finishing touches to our short film.

All we did was refilm bruno marleys interview, and of course, the giggles started up again, and with in 3 or so hours the scene was complete. in the last draft the scene was considered to dark and had poor footage which resulted in a bad review from our teacher. this time we turned on all the lights and opened most curtains.

Now all to do is ancillery reviews and thats about it!

Musical tab

Seeing as i cannot write music, i have the musical tab sheet here below, the first signifies the piano tab, which in turn every 8th bar the piano 'key' changes either 2semi tones up or two semi tones down (semi tones on a piano are either one key up or one down so if the piano you hear is being played in the key of C, two semi tones up, would equal a D) the next picutre is a tab sheet of the violin, this is played always two semi tones above the piano key, 2 octaves higher than the lowest octave in the piano sheet.

Next is the drum sheet, from top to bottom the percussion is as follows.
Hi Hat
Floor Tom
Tom Tom
Snare
Bass Drum

Enjoy!

Music Production Diary

This was done by me, pretty much shows how simple it was to make music for my film.
