Half Term Hw

1. What preparation did you undertake ahead of the preliminary task?
At first we discussed where we wanted to film, we did some story boards and then made the final choice.
2. Where did you shoot it?
It starts off in one of the buisness studies rooms, then proceeds into the history corridor then into the history corridor toilets.
3. Why did you choose this location?
Basically we could get quite a few match on actions, with many doors and what not, also the running around the corner would give us those two angle shots from staying in the corner from when he runs around.
4. What equipment have you used?
Just a camera and a mac with final cut express as well as garage band.
5. What went well?
The editing and music was a success as well as filming
6. What difficulties did you face?
one difficulty was only using final cut express for roughly two hours since october, so was a bit rusty.
7. What is your overall impression of your preliminary task outcome?
We think it was a big success as everything fits in together.
8. How would you improve it?
The fact there are two jump cuts, one just before he enters the toilet and another when he goes into the urinal, if we have more filming time, we would of re filmed those bits.
9. What lessons have you learnt that you will keep in mind as you continue working on the main task?
To have patience while filming, and to make more story boards.
